We source all our timber from sustainable re-forested plantations. Like fingerprints, characteristic differences in colour and grain are produced by nature in every tree. Wood is a living organism that continues to live long after it's attachment the soil has ceased. This is a little known fact but it means in damp conditions it expands and in dry conditions or in intense heat it retracts. This may leave areas light in colour, or it may create small splits. We are proud that our product is individually different and uniquely yours, and if cared for, will bring you many years of enjoyment.
